Our MissionOur mission is to ensure 24 hour access to information required by the Distance Learners and Educators through; Building up a knowledge base basically upon faculty recommendations Processing and compiling the information on knowledge resources for easy access using modern ICTs Disseminating relevant information on right time to facilitate the teaching and learning process Information integration with the Learning and Content Management System used at OUSL and with the OUSL Management Information System

- Monday to Sunday : 8.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.
Virtual Resource Centre: - Monday - Friday : 10.00 a.m. - 4.00 p.m
- Saturday & Sunday : 9.00 a.m. - 4.00 p.m
Audio-Visual Resource Centre: - Monday - Sunday: 9.00 a.m. - 4.00 p.m
The Library is closed for all Full Moon Poya Days, Thaipongal Day, National Day, Milad-un-Nabi(Holy Prophet's Birthday), Day Prior to the Sinhala and Tamil New Year, Sinhala and Tamil New Year, May Day, Christmas and days notified as holidays by the Open University of Sri Lanka. |
