Matara Regional Centre Library

Matara Regional Center Library is one of the unique Regional Center Libraries in the library system of the Open University of Sri Lanka. It is located in Nupe in the Matara District of the Southern Province. The Matara Regional Center Library Cluster includes Ambalantota, Hambantota, Galle, Ambalangoda, Kalutara, Gampaha and Ratnapura.

Providing all library services, the Matara Library was initially operational and in support of meeting the aspirations of library users, the innovative services and facilities were expanded in 2017 with the opening of the new three storied building.
