Dr. Wathsala Veenadari Athukorala is an academic librarian and researcher with over two decades of experience in university librarianship, research, and academic leadership. She holds a PhD in Library and Information Management from Wuhan University, China, and has received prestigious international fellowships, including the Alexander von Humboldt Experienced Researcher Fellowship and Return Fellowship. Her research interests include digital librarianship, open science, social media in libraries, and knowledge dissemination. She currently serves as Librarian of The Open University of Sri Lanka.
