Mrs. Irosha Marasinghe is a Senior Assistant Librarian at the Open University of Sri Lanka. She holds a B.Sc. in Agriculture (Special) from Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, an M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics from the Postgraduate Institute of Agriculture at the University of Peradeniya, and an MSSc in Library and Information Science from the University of Kelaniya. Her diverse academic background provides a strong foundation for her professional career in library services and research.

She has been involved in various research projects, particularly in the areas of knowledge management, library services, and the application of technology in library operations. Mrs. Marasinghe has published several research papers in reputable journals, contributing valuable insights to the field of library science and information management.

Her research interests include bibliometric analysis, e-resources and services, library user services, and systematic literature reviews. She is passionate about the role of libraries in academic institutions and the importance of technology in enhancing library services.

Mrs. Marasinghe is also a dedicated educator, currently teaching various courses at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Open University of Sri Lanka. She has developed a reputation for her commitment to improving library services and enhancing the learning experience of students.
